He’s been known to make women all over the world fall in love with him, but Gerard Butler is reportedly keeping things platonic with Jessica Simpson.
The “P.S. I Love You” stud was spotted out with the “Come on Over” songstress and her hairstylist/BFF Ken Paves on Tuesday night at New York City’s SoHo House.
One eyewitness revealed “They seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours.” But an inside source told press, “There is nothing romantic there at all.”
And it may be a good thing, because Jess has been plenty busy with her new VH1 gig “The Price of Beauty.” Yesterday she tweeted, “@kenpaves and I are going to India!!!!”
Making the most of her day in New York City, Jessica Simpson was spotted checking out of the Ritz-Carlton hotel earlier today (October 14).
The “Come on Over” songstress looked to be in good spirits as she smiled for the paparazzi, sporting a black ensemble along with a shiny gold jacket.
During a trip to Morocco to film her new VH1 series “The Price of Beauty,” Jess says she saw a magnificent display of women’s empowerment.
“Morocco is extremely empowering, and the women there are incredible. There was nothing repressed about the women … they carry themselves completely confidant, sexy, all-knowing, while completely covered. It’s all about what’s inside of them, and they really studied themselves. To me that is what beauty is.”
She hasn’t had much luck in the romance department as of late, and Jessica Simpson says she’s ready to let technology help her find a mate.
The “With You” songstress told press, “I have to say I’ve never tried finding love online. I mean, anybody who can find love online, so be it.” When asked if she’d give it a try, Jess answered, “Maybe, Who knows?”
Miss Simpson also noted that she learned a bunch about women’s empowerment during a trip to Morocco to film her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty.”
